New master cylinder leaking from lid yikes
Hey guys as my last post said i redid my brakes but today ive learned to not trust my fuel gauge and it ran out when it said i had a quarter tank left this pertains to what may have happened. so got gas in it again, drove it to my radiator shop where i open the hood and its dripping ughhh. now from me losing power brakes due to it dieing from no fuel can that pressure being applied to stop the car with no vacum to the power brakes push some of the brake fluid out of the lid? thats what happened i think to the other one that was for a all wheel drum car to much pressure it pushed brake fluid out of the lid so what do you guys think?
thanks in advance

I'm having a problem following all this, but running a vehicle out of fuel should NOT cause various leaks in the systems of the vehicle.
So I dooonnooooo, maybe you simply overfilled the master and if finally heated up enough, and expanded enough, to blow some fluid out.

sorry for not being clear, like when the engine shuts off from no fuel i lost my power everything including vacuum to my brakes causing me to have manual brakes to stop it with lots of force thus maybe causing it to leak like that?

I think I understand what you are saying. From the additional pedal pressure you had to apply because of the engine not running, you think this caused the leak? Nope, line pressure is the same regardless of your pedal pressure or the power booster pressure.
