Question about Cheetah shifter

Bought the 70 Duster and it has a Cheetah SCS reverse pattern shifter in it with a manual valve body, can anyone explain to me how this shifter works and even have a video of how one works, haven't been able to get car home or even get to drive it so would like to know more about it before getting it home, it also has a built 727 trans and a 3000 stall converter, owner said the 340 is built to move, he had an older Road Runner with a 383 pushing 450hp and said the little Duster with the 340 will near outdo the 383, gotta be built with some power I would think. Thanks for any help on the cheetah shifter.

The cheetah valve body will have a very harsh shift and the pattern will be PRN123 it also will not have any hold back in 1st gear. It says all over the paper work that it is not for street use But I love it. It shifts so harsh that, I spin through 2nd gear and even get rubber into 3rd. He is right about the Duster having a lot of snap to it, the car is very light and are extremely quick if you can get the traction to the pavement. If you like to have fun and play on the street/strip it is a great car for that. But if you are a timid mouse then pass on it. LOL... Good luck and be safe....Bill
