Was working on a couple of other things for a bit, but tomorrow I am ordering the rest of my stuff to stick it in and fire it up... Should have a video of it running with in 2 weeks orr less..

Ordering monday

Headers
copper header gaskets
mini starter
one wire alternator
plug wires
coil
holley electric fuel pump
Mopar fan and shroud
fuel line kit from cell to engine

I am going to start the car and break the cam in on a single fout carb. Then when I get all the bugs worked out like my complete rewire job, exhaust, and the drive ability im sticking the tunnel ram on.

Tuff stuff one wire 100amp powder coated alt,, Holley pump and complete line kit from fuel cell to engine bay,, Also my favorite street fan with the best cooling and does not sound like a leaf blower going down the road like all non clutch fans. The Mopar performance Viscous fan.. I remember when I was younger, I always took the clutch fan off and stuck a flex fan on.. Dont know why, maybe I thought it was cool.. But the sound they make really sucks.. Just like those old s-10 blazers you here nothing but fan when they are going down the road.. LOL

Thats what i do swap the clutch for a really large Noisy flex with the ac on and sitting in traffic she makes a difference over the one thats on the motor..
how will that perform over my oem clutch? i would rather not have "the roar" of the flex but i don't want to suffer cfm at stop and go traffic speeds... what's the part number? DO4B1? summer is warming up here quick it was 95 yesterday and humid.

Not sure if we are on the same page, I do not like flex fans.. Summit for the fan..

Most late 1960s and early 1970s factory-built musclecars were equipped with viscous fans for cooling purposes. Engineers determined through dyno testing that you could gain up to 15 extra horsepower with typical high-performance V8s

Been busy have not had a chance to stick the engine in.. Big b-day party in my shop/ man cave friday night. Had to get all my stuff moved around.. Got to mess with it a bit tonight.. Stuck the motor mounts on and stuck the converter in and water plugs on the block.. I really think this week it will get fired up..

Parts
New B&M Holeshot Converter 2800-3000, B&M Flexplate SFI appr. ARP 7/16 bolts.. And new motor mounts and trans mount. I had to buy a new converter I finally found out what was in it.. It was a GER made in PA. they went out of biz years back, and from what I reserched they were a pile of junk..

Those are not fail safe mounts. Make sure you have some type of torque strap

You are correct, If I was goona drag race on the track I would not use these, but for the street it will cut down on vibration.. Going to stick a chain on the left side with just a hair of slack.

Got the engine set in the car to night,, Not to fun.. First mistake buying 1 7/8 headers.. I only needed 1 3/4 but the 1 3/4 headers were 18 gauge thickness and I wanted the 16 gauge.. They are barley touching the torsion bar in 2 spots on the drivers side and one spot on the pass side.. It seems like if the engine was lifted 1 inch it would be perfect.. I guess tomorrow night will be rose bud on the torch and hammer time.. Atleast its on the bottom were nobody can see the handy work..

For anyone else out there considering headers for their RB 68-70 B-Body, I bought cheapy flowtech headers straight out of summit's catalogue and only had to clearance for the stock starter. Non-power steer, Non-power brakes, and column shift auto. Hope someone else finds this useful

Started on the fuel system.. cleaned the fuel cell and got it mounted back in the trunk.. Ran new fuel line and mounted the pump, and mounted the fuel filter under the hood. I stuck it under the hood because thats were I am going to come off of for my carb supply. I went with the holley red pump because a regulator is not needed. It will supply enough fuel for my build.

Got a few more things bolted on the engine, Gonna break the engine in on a single carb before I add the tunnel ram.. The last thing I want to do is to be screwing with carbs tring to start and break-in a new engine. Runnig a hyd. cam not roller..

Had my tunnel ram ceramic coated and got it back last week. Also I got a 2 quart bigger trans pan.
