I used Mr Gasket Extra thick. But then you will have to have longer bolts.
Or you can just grind the cover down if you want to use the thin gaskets...

I Degreased, clean and sanded the engine compartment this weekend. After sanding, I shot all the exposed metal with Self Etching primer. Ready for paint.... Once it warms up a bit. Hopefully it will get warm enough today.

I had that problem. Solved it by filing the edge of the valve cover & a little black paint

I haven't gone dead on this build, but it is going to take longer than expected. Wife's daily driver needed to be replaced, so I picked up a car payment... gunna slow the build down a bit. I'll keep posting as things progress.

I don't know, it's probable that this is not the original K-member in my car. I think one of the previous owners had dreams of a drag car, but never finished.
