1976 d100 value?

my two sisters and I are trying to figure out the value of my dads truck after his death.
what I know,
Slant 6
Long box
2 wheel drive
Straight body
Very poor paint
Was a auto but now has a 3(?) Speed
Motor not original to truck

Has had trouble idling at intersections but he said it ran good down the road

Needs tires
Interior poor (?)

may have come out of Missouri, in New York currently, he had 2 trucks and I don't remember which one this one is

Gas tank needs to be cleaned and hooked back up, running off of gas can now.

Guess that is the good bad and ugly as I know it.
Thanks

they can vary decently wide from rig to rig. keep your eye on fb marketplace, craigslist and whatnot for similar ones but if i had to guess? two, three thousand? but don't run with that i could be waaay off it has been a while since i've been in the market for an older truck.

I picked up a 1978 d100 short box step side in southern CA for 500 bucks about a year and a half ago. No real rust. I trailered it home but got it running on the trailer to drive it around the block and into my driveway. In my experience, in CA, if it ain't presmog (1975) then it's not worth a mint. Nice thing is all those post smog parts fit my 75.

I think you'd be lucky to get 1000 for it depending on the body rot. Here in Iowa you'd be lucky to get $500. The body style is desirable but not drivable, long bed, slant 6, and 2wd really kills the value.

With the condition a couple hundred bucks. Gonna lots of work or it's just a parts piece.
