With that year truck, you should be able to get a manual locking hub kit from Warn and be all set. It's not hard to install either. The front axle should be a dana 44 with 19 spline outer shafts. Dodge did use what they call "Selectro Locking Hubs". it really depends on how your front axle is setup now.

Can you post a picture of the hub? Depending on the hub style of your truck, Mile Marker may also have something.

Hopefully this thread here helps. It's post numbers 3 and 4 that you will want to read.

As far as the D70 having 4.88 gear and a LS, I'm not really surprised. That is what most of them came with. That or 4.10 (in the diesels). I am surprised that it youahve a D70 in the rear though as they were used in the 1 ton truck of that era. If you can, grab some pics and post them up of the rear axle too. Is your front axle a D44 or D60?

Ok there are some corrections.. it is a 360360 with 410limited gears it is limited slip.. I think it is the dana 44 front.. I saw 44-8f or 8-d.. put on lift last night and found leaking axle seal on rear. Will fix that tonight along with brakes then I should be driving it... 78 w200. 360 four speed with 410 gears and the fulltime 4x4.. any body with same. Or similar setup have any mileage numbers???? Im thinking 12 or 13????

Welcome!

You need to swap out the t-case to a part-time t-case and then install a set of D44 manual locking hubs. They are pretty much the same throughout the years.
