I recently bought this thing and decided I want to drop a 440 in it.

It’s got the granny four speed, and my research tells me an 833 swap is just going to be a nightmare.

So I’m thinking a 440, bell housing, and lower rear end gears.

Am correct in that I’ll need a 440 that was a manual originally?

Any other tips are appreciated!

 

440 will be good to go.... Just need the ig Block hardwear to go with it....
