1990 transmission problem
I have a 1990 Dodge p/u ram charger. It came with a 5.9 eng. and a automatic transmission. The tranny went bad so was looking for a manual tranny. I found a donor truck same year. That motor in the manual tranny was shot but needed the manual tranny. The engine in the truck was a 5.2 and found that the bell housing for the transmission is about a 1/2" off so in reality won't work so don't know where to find one to bolt on the trans to the 5.9. Also the flywheel on the 5.2 eng. is about a inch bigger. I am told that I need a flywheel for the 5.9 but it has to be one that is internally balanced. I found one on line but not sure if it is the right one. Anyone out there that has had this problem before or can help me run through this would be much appriciated. Thanks in advance

Most everything from your doner truck should crossover... Providing it is the same year Model?
AS for the Flywheel and clutch assembly, you should be able to get all the stuff for your 360 5.9 and install it as long as the input splines are the same as the transmission your using..
Check with CenterForce and see what they offer.... Or Check with Brewer Transmissions, The Mopar folks...
Best of luck.... Cheers and keep us posted on how things are working out.....
