91 dodge d150 318 motor
I am right now going to buy a d150 with a 318. So my question is what can I do to it to make it have more power, speed. Because i got to keep the 318. I would appreciate any help.

Welcome!
You want more power and to go faster or a higher top end speed or all of the above? What do you have for a transmission in the truck now?
You probably have a TBI setup on the truck which is nice for throttle response over a carb. Depending on how deep into the block you want to go (and into your wallet) will net different results. Headers and a full exhaust is a must. You can look around for different injectors or a larger TBI unit and intake (cannot use a carb intake - might be able to if someone makes an adaptor). Your computer may need to be flashed at that point. Cam is always a good investment and can give you the greatest bang for you buck. Then there are stroker kits, ignition components, under drive pulley setups, air intakes, torque convertors, shift kits, sure grip units (rear axle), etc..
