Hi,

Looking for information on an old truck we have in the family, I've never been given a straight answer and its been off the road since 1990. I'm looking for the year, model, info on engine axles etc. Does anyone know the best way of deciphering this serial number?

I've had difficulty deciphering the data plate on the door.

Look up cowl tag decoders. The model, body style, where built, production number is all in that code on that cowl tag

 

It seems to be a late 30s d6 truck. Send a pic of the truck..i love a good mystery, lol!!
