I've got an 82 dodge pickup with a slant six engine that suffers from heat soak badly in warm weather, the shield that used to be under the carburetor disintegrated, does anyone know where I can find one or have a template so I can make my own?

no, this shield was actually like a paper gasket, probably asbestos
