Hello all, I'm A new member and new to the mopar branding (dad is die hard ford) I have the opportunity to purchase a 1978 D300 dually 4x4 four speed. Regular cab. Has minor door rust and a heavy duty home made stake body, set up to dump but never finished. Has plow with it, asking price is $1500 needs fuel system work and brakes are weak looking for a decent plow truck for next year. To much?

That's about average. You could dump about ~$500 into the brakes and have a whole new system or ~$600 on top of that and have disc in the rear. The fuel system issue would need to be looked into.

As long as the body, frame, motor, transmission and t-case are good, then I think its a fair price.

 

Sounds like a good deal to me...
