Hi Folks, I recently bought a 1980 Custom 200 Dodge PU.......How can I determine what engine I have. It is an 8 cyl 3/4 ton, but beyond that I am a bit confused.
Can anyone e4xplain to me where and how I can determine this---thanks---Bob

 

There might still be the factory info decal on the bottom of the hood, but the only two v8s for 1980 were 318 and 360.

 

Look at the casting numbers on the side of the block... Mite say 318 360 440 383
