Yes it did sit for about 7 years or so. A couple days ago i pulled the tank out and to my surprise it was spotless inside. I thought it was for sure going to be all gummed up because it always seems to run worse when it gets low on fuel. I also replaced the fuel filter. Im going to buy a carb rebuild kit and carb rejetting kit because i think i need to go with smaller jets or rods. And my carb is a varnished yellow color.

But the gas is fresh, ive put a solid 100 miles on it so far this spring and it was running poor to decent. But now it cant get out of the garage.

Yeah im not even sure what gears i have, although im pretty sure they are the 3.23 or something around there. Well actually right now its not running very well. It starts up and idles but when i put it in reverse to get out of the garage it immediatly kills on me so i can take it anywhere right now. Im thinking its either the carb, vacuum, timing, or fuel pump, but i dont really know. Have any ideas?

Yeah i can post some pics up. The engine bay isnt too pretty but it will be better after i get my heads and intake on. This car was my grandpas car (im only 18) and then he passed and then i got it last summer. So im not exactly sure what is in it but heres the stuff i know cuz i put them in: Edelbrock performer aluminum intake, hedman headers, duel exhaust, 600 cfm edelbrock 1405 carb electric choke, #302 swirl port heads milled a bit with a performance valve job and mild porting. Heres the things im assuming: stock pistons, about a 340 cam?? After my heads are on i should have compression ratio of 9:1 or so.

That's awesome to hear about work. At least you know you'll be set for some time now. When are you going to start making some more run with the ute?

Hey, thanks for the friend request. It's a shame what the Government and backwords thinking people have done to your country. I've heard alot of great things about the people over there. I'm not much for traveling but if given the chance I'd love to see Australia. If your into guns over there i'm sure you've heard of Steve Lee, LOVE his songs. Back to my toys, only mods on the SKS are bayonet lug mounted bipod and scope mount. The mount and the rear dust cover are a single piece cast together and has 2 set screws on either side to hold zero. It works well but I only shoot about 200 yards, not much open country where I live. Take care
