I Have a question for you. I have just found out that the motor in my 71 rv is a 413 (found the number stamped on a plate behind the water pump) it is stamped HT 413 do you have any idea what the HT means and also where on the block is the serial number or part number?.

i would look for a pre 1974, bigger valves no emmission laws. if your lookin for a bone stock motor look for an hp on the pad probably an e code. thats what i would look for.

HT is truck engine... serial number on the side of the block large numbers... serial number bottom edge of the block on the side where the oil pan mounts where the oil pan mounts
