Bent pushrods?

Hey ya'll,

Wondering what can bend a pushrod? The motor is a poly 318. All the pistons are fine, camshaft looks like it has normal wear and the no metal found in the oil pan. Any ideas? T

If the valves adjustments are in-correctly set, that could do it.
Were the push rods that bent original? If not, someone could have replaced them and maybe didn't take the correct measurements.

Bounce on the stem from a loose rocker nut, over revving it, retainer to guide contact?
