Poping Through Carb

My 1972 Dart is having some problems when i get into the fuel it starts to pop throught the carb. i bought the car from my uncle last year and the problem just seams to be getting worse. we have replaced varius ignition parts. i was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what could cause the problem. thanks

it does it about every time i really give it the fuel it doesen't do it consistantly. as far as my timing i haven't really looked at and truth be told timing makes me nervous. i do know that the timing is adavanced but how far i can't tell you. Let me give you some of the specs and see if that could help. 11-1 domed pistons,292lift 309duration advanced at 4 degrees. thermaquad carb i could't tell you the cfms might be 400cfm not sure
also let me run this problem by you, after i have had the car out and running a little bit. i shut it off and try to restart it takes everything the starter and battery has to just get the engine to turn slowly, not even fast enough to start it.but when the engin is cold it turnes easy and fires right up.

Before you go any further ... check the timing.
