That motor looks amazing and I love the icing!

What are you doing about the hood?

The hood will have to be cut but nothing drastic. The scoop wont actually protrude that far out of the hood, or so my measurements lead me to believe. And when its all said and done the scoop should sit fairly close to hood level.

Just a little wider than the originals. . .nobody will be able to tell the difference

Good idea. Might just have to do that.
I'll be heading out later this afternoon to mount the 2 front tires and wheels. Mocked up the tires earlier and it just makes me even more frustrated that i wont have all 4 wheels here till march. The car is just begging to light'm up. . . .

Oh yeah! Your going to have some better handling with those wider tires. And we all know how much those tires in the back will be screaming for mercy once you get the car done.

440 source and summit parts came today. Just a few simple things. Belts, magnetic drain plug, alternator bracket kit, new billet dipstick and a fuel cell from Summit. Nothing too exciting. The box i look forward to seeing is the one with the stroker kit in it. That should be fun.

Front tires mounted and balanced. I just need to get rid of the blue and red pin striping. Threw one on the rear just to get an idea of how she will look.

awesome! - usually not a fan of black wheels, but your combo looks great. i take it you are going to re-vinyl the roof black. it would look cool if you blacked out the hood...

THE REAR WHEELS CAME FINALLY!!! I'll have to roll the rear fenders a little but no biggie

Nothing like a little lip to make you smile. . .

If you look very closely you can notice the small differences in the rear wheel/tire combo compared to stock . . . . like the white lettering. . .

Let me guess under the seat? There should be a few people who can help you decode this.

Quick question for you guys . . .
I went and got an estimate from a local driveline/tranny shop today and the guy quoted me $500 for a 3.25" custom steel 1 piece drive shaft and new high performance diff yolk installed. Sound like a good deal? There are not too many driveline places in the area and the only one i was familiar with went under last year.

that sounds like a lot, before you buy call a place called mesa driveshaft. they are in az but do awesome work and they're very reasonable - if you cant send yours at least get a price to compare

The Charger is finally getting a driveshaft. The shop is making an all new one piece and putting in a new beefy diff yolk. Should have the car back next week in time for the local good guys show!!!
