6 Pack question

Should the outboard Carbs in a 6 pack setup suck air at idle???

I don't know what you mean by "suck air." The outboard carbs DO HAVE idle circuits, the adjustments are plugged but you can dig them out and get to the screws.

Sorry that is not true. I OWNED one and there ARE idle circuits in the outer carbs. They were covered by soft (lead) and if you dug in there, you could adjust them.

(By the way, it's why my nomiker is "440roadrunner." There is NO SUCH THING as a "440roadrunner" UNLESS it is a sixpack)

you are right. i was just saying how the original design worked from the factory.

You shouldn't need to mess with the air adjusting screws at all. A lighter spring in the dash pots will take care of this problem.
