alternator question
I added electric fans, fuel pump, new stereo, and some interior lights to my 69 coronet. I am looking for an alternator that can support all that, I was hoping that someone could tell me where I can get a 100-120 amp alternator that will work with the factory brackets.

Yes, these were not really adequate "back when." If you dig into some of the shop manuals, there was an option for the larger alternators that has become slang as "taxi / fleet" wiring. What they did was to run the ammeter and battery/ alternator wires in/ out of the bulkhead with separate, larger wires through separate grommets in the firewall.
"Way back" in the 70's I damaged the bulkhead connector of my old 70 RR and drilled out the connector and fed larger wires through the connector. This of course was way before Al Gore invented the internet, LOL
