wrong parts or not

I'm new on this forum and I have a major problem.
I ordert from andy's autosport the trunk floor and the extentions and in my eyes they don't fit,can somebody look at the pictures and tell me what to do.
The company says
"yes, the trunk pans does not go all the way, but this is how it is meant to be.
If you installed the extenion panels proberly, they would cover the gaps the trunk pan leaves open"
Look a the pictures and tell me how that works????

The stuff you buy for c bodies is short and you have to fabricate metal if you already cut the pan out
