From my manual, these bearings shall be re-lubed at 12000 miles via plugs located in the aft end of the casting - item 32, lube point #24/25 on attached drwg.
However, no quantity is mentioned - can anyone enlighten me, please?

I don't think you could over-lube the bearings. When assembling rear diffs we would pack the axle bearings. I'd say a good 3-5 pumps should certainly be adequate. When I say pump
I'm referring to pumps of the handle on a mechanical grease gun.
