Just bought a 1956 Belvedere

Hello, I’m new to the forum and I’m wanting to learn more about this car I just bought.
i plan on restoring at and looking for advice on best place to buy parts. It runs and drives great. Previous owner said I should replace the gas tank so I’ll start with that.
he too off the original oil bath air filter which is sitting in the trunk. There is no air filter on it currently and I plan on putting that back on. Everything is original and even has the original generator. Nothing has been altered or upgraded except the addition of an electric fuel pump.

any recommendations of where to get a replacement fuel tank?

thank you,
Wade

I think it’s tanks.com for factory fuel tanks.
