can you put 440 in ram

basic question i sold the v10 sounded like too much of a headache but have a 440/727 combo 77 out of motor home what would be involved in putting it in the 95 beside normal drive shaft shorting and motor mounts will this work in the truck can i make engine fuel injected and use factory system (just up jet and reprogram does any one do this ) thought it would be cool to put real power in this truck. thks...

That's like swapping one headache for a migraine. I would say it is doable with enough money..

There is a member here with an 02 or 03 ram 1500 that has a 440 in it.

To make it FI, it would be easier with a stand along unit. I'm not sure of anyone repgramming the ECM. It may be easier to just keep it as carb.
