Happy New Years...bringing it home in a Mopar

WTF...you only live once....Happy New Year to all...

I bought enough and they gave me one for free. I live in the county and they lifted the burn ban. Going to be a loud night.

I managed to stay up to see the new year in, and promply suffered with insomnia all night, and I DID have one small drink. Up again at 5:30 then slept about 1/2 this morning. Normal operation some days around here. Not much of a day, it's above freezing and no rain, but no sun breaks

Can't complain, I spent all this time and money getting ready for the "predicted snow" and we have had.......zip.

IN FACT yesterday I ran the 67 around for a little spin, went to Carl's got a burger, and went downtown to the beach and ate. Tiny bit 'o sun for short while yesterday.

Last year:

Almost didn't make it this year. Passed out for about 30 minutes right before the ball dropped. Woke up early, picked up yet another axle (I think this makes 6 or 7 now) and started loading up my truck to make a run to the scrap yard today.

It sure does feel goo though to sleep in.

What kind of redneck are you? All those fireworks and not one case of beer.

Beer I see beer everyday at work. I had six beers and some bubbly when I shot them off.

Moving forward...New year is underway...I kicked the tree to the curb and was actually sorry to see it go. I got a new little red Aussie walk about grill from the Depot and broke it in with a brisket.

I have a good friend that makes fire works. Not only will they add color to fun to any party, they will also dig that hole you've always wanted.

Wife and I went to s secret bar where they still smoke in Michigan! Got home later. Had no fire-works, but tracer rounds did the job! Bwaa haa haa!! Michigan is legalizing the GOOD stuff [fireworks] this year!!!

Spent the new year with my family at a club in SoHo. Killer band, and 1000 balloons on the ceiling. It was a blast, against all odds! Me and pops...
