Hi.

My name is Jon Yinger, and I just acquired atwo old Desotos: a 1942 Custom Club Coupe and a 1946 Custom 4-dr sedan. They bouth need everything.

For the moment I am most interested in rebuilding the 236 engine. I would like a few modifications: two-carb intake manifold, slightly higher compression, valve openings ported and relieved (I think that's what we used to call it), Pertronics ignition.

Are these things possible?

The 1946,,,, Has the rear "Suicide Doors"... Those where really cool I thought...
I just love all those old cars.. I would love to see some pictures if you get a chance..
