1967 Plymouth Belvedere II convertible trunk hinge bushings keep breaking when you close the trunk it seems like the hinge opens too far and the bushing rides on the flat part of the hinge instead of the round part of the hinge . Has anyone had this problem the pivot hole in the hinge is a little worn and there is a stop welded on both hinges from the factory ?? any help would be great!!
