1968 satellite

Hello to all my Mopar loving friends, me and my new best friend(car) are here waiting we can get the best information out of mopar experts like you.

let me introduce you to her.

its a 318 ci
with the 727 transmission
its has green and gold bucket seats

My plan is to paint it primer black with a coat of sealant with the stock 318 since the engine was running before it was tacking apart to change the main rear bearing. and use it as a daily driver.

new ideas are always welcome just let me know.

Welcome to the forum! Great car!
I am assuming that you're going to straighten out the car before you paint it and my suggestion is that you paint it with a matte finish paint, rather than primer with a sealer...

thanks silverick i actually dont know how primer with saelant looks like but since i dont know what color i want to it painted yet i thought i coulnd just do that, its because i have a 440 block that i want to rebuild while i have as a daily driver and when the block its ready i want to make it a gtx or a roadrunner replica, but they have a few color that i really like i just dont know which one yet. what would you advise to do.

its my first classic project.

I would just drive it as is. Build the 440, You need a Big Block 727 trans too. and all the related hardware.
Also I would change the timing chain in your 318 before you reinstall it

yeah i thought about that but thhere is a couple of spot that are rusted, they are not that bad (i think), and i wouldnt like them to rust any more, and i'm also gonna build the 440 slowly due to lack of resources lol, because i have the bare block, and i have been resarching and they are not cheap. Man that is a cool car, and you have your work cut out for you. hammering it out and using it as a daily, personally I think it is to rare, a full resto is the way I would go.
