Back in the fold
Been away from Mopars since getting married 30yrs ago. Just jumped back in with a 1966 Plymouth Sport Fury 383 project. Will be looking for cam selection ideas to start with. It has headers and single plane 4 barrel, otherwise stock.

Honestly, like almost every answer in life, "it depends" would be mine lol. There are a few factors to consider.
1. how old is the engine? Has it been rebuilt in the last 20 years or so? If not, I'd consider that before putting a shiny new shoelace into an old grubby shoe, so to speak.
2. what are you looking to get out of it? Street fun? Track thumper? Competition or just more fun?
3. what are the other specs, such as rear end gearing and what tranny, et cetera.
Yes, I've become the old and boring guy who wants a car running well before I put any more pressures on it lol! Sigh…
