Hello Folks!

New member here. I plan on using this site a lot. New owner of a fury III. I want to change out the air cleaner to the commonly shiny one. Giver her some "bling". I am having a hard time finding an air cleaner that will fit under the hood as well as fit the 2 barrel I have. The parts guys have tried many Mr Gasket ones to no avail. My car details: 68 Fury III 318 2barrel.

Any ideas/sources welcome. Thanks

Yes, you will need an adapter like Bob said, but that might not solve the hood clearance issue (might make it worse).

In addition to the adapter, you will need a 14" Moroso type air cleaner that drops lower around the carb and you may have to find a 2" tall element.

Welcome aboard.

Thank you for your feedback and welcoming. Iv tried the adaptor. It created a clearance issue with the hood and the wing nut stud is too short when you add the adaptor. Iv given up on this air cleaner modification and most likely going to put on a 4bbl, etc.
