Welcome. Without knowing the condition of the car I would build a rear to take the future power you plan to make so you can keep driving while building engine and trans.

I use to get all excited in a situation like this and start tearing it apart to be left with a torn apart car I can't drive and lots of thoughts of what it will be. If you go SB stroker when it's ready it will drop right in quickly and have you driving again.

The vibration could be as simple as a universal joint...

Welcome to the forum.... Doing this one step at a time makes a lot of sense... You get to drive it more and that is what our Mopars are about.. Also be sure to check out the Mopar of the Month contest....

Welcome!

I'd fix the vibration first. Think about what you want to do with the car and base your build on that. Write down everything you want for the build and then start gathering parts. Once you have everything, then start the build. Like others said, this will allow you to still enjoy the car now and the build tie will be shorter.

70-74? Dart, Duster, Valiant, Demon 8 3/4... Easy to change gears on. You could also use a 8 1/4 more for street duty and an occasional drag strip visit - NO slicks
