Thumbs up New to the scene

Hi, my name is Chuck. I bought a `73 Roadrunner the other day. You still may be able to see it from the Craigslist add from Fayetville Arkansas. It has a 440 Magnum from a `70 Roadrunner and a 4 speed. It had a 318 from the factory. What I want to do is upgrade the suspension with heavy duty torsion bars and leaf springs as well as the whole steering and shocks. Can someone direct me to some place that I can get all the parts needed to do transformation? What would be a good set-up for high performance street? Thanks in advance. Chuck from Houston.

I bought the Roadrunner because it reminded me of the `73 Duster I had back in the late 70`s when I was in the Army. It was black also, with the white bucket seats and hockey stick stripe. It had a built 340 and a 4 speed and fat tires on Cragars. I remember one time me and a buddy ended up racing a purple and white 383 Cuda down I-5. We were side by side for a long time, until my buddy told me to punch it. So I pressed the gas pedal as hard as I could and it started pulling away from the Cuda. That car is long gone, but the memories will never fade. Now I have this Roadrunner to make some new ones. Chuck
