Starter Question

My name is Austin. I am building a 27 ford coupe with a old school 354 hemi. The hot Heads trany adapter uses a modern mini starter. The starter has 2 mounting holes. One is larger diameter but the bolts are the same size. Why is one hole larger?

I would check with Hot Heads... You might need a Spacer/Bushing? I looked a couple of places like HAMB... But didnt see the fix... It might not matter if it ride in a lip?
But i think i would check with Hot Heads.. Been way to long for me...
Keep us posted I would like to know....
