transmisson help
Hello all my name is Pete i live in New Zealand & are a new member to mopar forums, i need help in identifing witch trans i have in my 73 challenger, in is listed on build sheet as D34 but can not find that code on my parts manual.

Sorry I can't help you, but I do know there are a bunch of posts here that talk about the D34 tranny. If you haven't already, try using our search tool entering "D34". The answer you are looking for is likely there. No doubt, others will jump in here too and help you out. Welcome and Take care.

:welcome2: There are only 2 automatics 904 & 727 for that year. The 833 4speed was the common standard. Pictures would help...Bill

What motor do you have ? 73 Challenger if it has a 318 My guess would be a 904
BB the only choice would be a 727
