Vancouver, WA Former Hemi owner
I have owned several 426 Hemi cars, 440 Six-Packs, 440 Magnums, Cudas, Challengers, Chargers, Super Bees. I just always loved the B-body cars and the E-bodies.
I am currently building a 40 Ford pickup,('cuz I always liked them, too) but going back to my Mopar roots, it is getting a DOM tube chassis and Viper suspension and brakes with CCW Viper race wheels. I am going to run a Kaase Boss 429, stroked to 557", with a Ford top-loader 4 speed. Hey, it is a Ford. I call it, "my other farm truck".
My daily driver is a 2002 Ford Lightning, 418RWHP/541TQ, and it runs 12.70s at 106. It has also gotten 17.5 miles per gallon. I know its not a Mopar but it has to do until I can afford a Ram SRT10.

Actually, I thought it was a Viper with a farm truck body. I know, I have been lead astray by Brand X, but I have never forgot my Mopar roots. I was always the "Hemi" gut, then I bought a Cobra kit car and a Gen I Lightning to pull it, then my daughter bought a 64 1/2 Mustang and my wife bought a Mustang convertable.
I ran into a guy at a car show and he said, " Hey, I remember you, you are the Ford guy." I was about to kick his *** when I told him I was actually the Mopar guy. He asked me if I had a Cobra, and I said yes, then he asked if I had a Lightning and I said yes, then he asked if my daughter had a 64 Mustang, and I said yes, then he said that my wife had a red Mustang convertable and I nodded.
He asked, "How many Mopars do you have?" I realized I had turned into a Ford guy(and I don't like most Ford guys). Crap!!!
So, cut me some slack. If the guy with the black 440 SixPack Challenger, barn find, wants to make me a deal, I would be happy to get back to my roots.
I beg the forgiveness of the Mopar God to take me back into the flock where I belong. I need a 70 Hemi Cuda, yellow, black vinyl top, 4 speed.............mmmmmmmmm!!

The photo in the above post was a 62 Plymouth built by Granatelli for Bonneville. I found it in Central Point, Oregon in 1974 for $1500. Had a 480 inch, twin supercharged 413. It is now in Don Garlets museum in Florida.
I also had a 68 Hemi Roadrunner, factory 426 Hemi, 4 speed, Dana 60, B5 blue with 28,000 miles which is in a museum in Michigan.
I also destroyed more Dodge Chargers than the Duke boys. Hey, i liked Dana 60s and Hemi 4 speeds and the cars sold for $300 with no rust in 1980. Stripped 'em and sold the parts. Can anyone ever forgive me for the evil I have done? I did save the Hemi cars, loved those Hemis.
