wet hole sealant?

Which type / brand of sealant do you prefer for sealing the wet holes during engine assembly, and do you have a proven method or procedure which works best for you? Thanks for the help and I have been enjoying looking at the rides and projects here.

I use PERMATEX.... Clean your bolts. Brakeclean all the holes. Blow them all out with compressed air.... Apply sealant... after putting it all together, let it sit for about 15 min. and you can install fluids... if you feel uneasy. let it sit over night...

Depends, for coolant passages I also use the Copper permatex, for gasket areas I use the black permatex. I clean my bolts with a wire wheel on my grinder and use brake cleaner on the holes and then blow them out with compressed air. Haven't had any issues yet.
