Never even considered askin Nick! Wouldn't hurt. While the block is at the shop I'm gonna try an get the bed put together. Paint aint bad on the cab but the back fenders are rough. Probably gonna be one of the last things i do is paint. The ol lady is gonna redo the bench with black leather and have my grandparents cattle brand stitched in a dark red on the seat. I'm thinkin for the interior I'll make copper plates for door panels and age them a little with ammonia/salt. From everything I imagine, the hardest part of everything is mounting the engine to the frame since the years are so off. Any suggestions on tsckling that part?

Fab your own mounts or make a front engine plate to fit... You can order a front engine plate and cut it to fit...
You can mock it all up with bare block heads intake and exhaust manifolds with a oil pan on it... Going to need to see what fits...
The rest of what you have going in sounds cool for sure....

Cheers

Might try a set of motor mount brackets and motor mounts for a 72 up truck. You’ll need to fabricate the frame brackets but it should be straight forward. I did this on a 65 Jeep pickup.
