1990 Dynasty Odometer Problem

Hello! I own a 1990 Dodge Dynasty with 74k miles and one day, while I was driving, I noticed the odometer had stopped working, as well as the trip odometer, but all the other gauges were fine. I looked up how to repair it and replaced the two small plastic gears that are prone to breaking and causing this issue. I took it out for a drive the other day after installing the speedometer unit again and found that it still did not work. I plan to take it apart again and make sure I got allot the broken teeth from the previous gears out, but when I manually turned the odometer forward, it worked just fine. What else could be causing the problem?

I'm assuming that's the motor that turns the gears. Where can I get a replacement? If I can get a new one rather than one that's already been beaten to death, that would be better.

If I remember correctly there is no speedometer cable. If that is the case you need a vehicle speed sensor. They should be available at any parts store.
