OK, so the engine is out of Old Red and is off to the machine shop on Friday. They will do a complete OEM rebuild to include shot-peening the block and heads which will remove the rust and other built-up crapola. One thing they won't do though is paint it. I've been sandblasting and repainting the sheetmetal black as I removed it and I want to repaint the engine itself in the original Mopar color but I have no idea what that is. Can I get a little help here?

There are guys here who can give you specific numbers for specific years. For me, I'd just use something like Dupli-color Chrysler Orange or Blue engine paint.

If you're not going for an original look, shooting it black, it just might give it a really cool look.
