sound and heat barriers
getting ready to select heat/sound barriers or matting or spray on for my 70 RR
any suggestions for desert climate: interior roof and interior ?

Welcome to the site Pete..... Sure get hot out in that desert !!!! I was over in Cal-City this part week and it was 114*.... Fewwwwwww
My take is most of those are all about the same.. Just only go as thick as you think you need. Roof a little thinner than you would do the floor and inner doors.

I used Frost King duct insulation.It comes in rolls 12" x 15' self stick foam with foil. Took two rolls to do my D100 floor. Truck is as quite as a new one, and it stopped the engine heat from baking me in the cab. About $18.00 per roll at Home Depot or Lowes.
