I am currently working on a 66 Fury II. Its all original with a poly 318, a/c, and 10" 4 wheel drum brakes with no power assist
. My plans for this car are a built 383 with 911 heads. And since its gonna be faster, Ill need to replace the puny drum brakes with some beefy discs up front. It was origanally silver with blue interrior but some one had started pretting it to repaint and stripped all the paint and never primed it. So it has surface rust all over the bodie, nothing serious. I figure itll make one hell of a sleeper. LOL

my 66 came with the 318 poly, i put a 440 in it, got rid of the death trap single bail and put power brake master cylinder with a brake booster. stops just fine with the drums, the only thing i had to do was extend the brake pushrod i think about 2"

FINALLY got the '72 Barracuda put back together. Unfortunately, I never could make the time to do all the things I wanted. Just needed to put it all back together to get back into driving condition. Finished the drum-to-disc conversion for the front brakes. It was easier than I was expecting. Not sure how I should adjust the proportioning valve though. I'll be posting a thread for help there. It was easier than I was expecting!

Anyhow its all stripped down to the body and I just recently finished the wire brushing and sanding the outer shell. I cut some of the floor pans out but didnt clean up the rust on the frame rails yet. Started now with cutting the rust holes out and welding new sheet metal in. Got a good deal on a 440 block and got a complete 400 engine with it. Plan is to stroke it all a bit with the source 440 stuff. Well one step at a time.....LOL

Working on a 1976 New Yorker Brougham with a 440/727 combination. Pulled the car out of the mud, got as many of the critters out of it that I could, got a second engine and tranny for it (which is currently being torn down) and am hunting down parts. Pics to follow when I get them better organized.

A lot of project like you are doing are slow, especially when it comes to tearing it apart and find rust spots and repairing them. Just take your time and it will be well worth it in the end.

I've slowly been getting work done around the house.
1) I've got the walk in closet just about done, just need to clean it up and finish the trim around the window and door.
2) I cleaned out the garage of everything that wasn't mine and got my axles, motor, tranny and t-case sitting in the middle waiting for the chassis to come home.
3) I'll be working on installing some vents for the attic tonight and tomorrow.
I'm hoping to have a good majority of the little projects done before the first full week in September since that is the week I have off from work to finish the front room upstairs. Work is not helping out though. Been putting in a lot of hours, but on the other hand, I am very lucky to have a job, let alone OT.

Just picked up a lo mile 99 Cirrus LXI with a motor that jumped time and bent valves. Hoping to find a junkyard motor and make a decent commuter.

You must be married. News flash!!! Just offered a guy on craigs a gas powered,stick welder/generator that I repaired, [bought $150, repaired [$3.58 rectifier]...ask $600] for another Cirrus! Needs trans, if thats even it. Bad sensors make these trans's act bad. Worst case...$150 for rebuild kit. I Can sell these cars all day for $1800-$2500!

Yea that sounds alot easier than what ive been doing. Like scouring the internet for hours at a time looking for a cheap 76-79 cordoba that i could rob all the stuff i need from. Whats the part number on that master cylinder? If nothin else Id like to start drivin it to work so I can Get some much needed bodie work done on my truck. Thanks

I got two...
...priority I think should be the '72 D100 318/440 swap. Another one going on, is my '68 Dart 2dr post V8 swap. I just upgraded the rear to an 8.25. Was going to do the front end converson this past weekend, but the GF decided it was the perfect time to redo the bedroom 
So, we have a new bed, she has a new desk, and the kids get a new Xbox 360 Elite 
Not too bad, but I don't get much in these deals...I've come to accept that. When I get my new garage, I'll be happy

I left the camera in my brothers car, so I'll definitely post them when I can track him down again. We're having problems with the car overheating, so we're deciding if we want to put in a bigger radiator, get a better fan (the fan is so weak, its the equivalent of spitting on a forest fire to put it out, just not happening), or both.

Aquired a complete motor and trans for my 74 scamp. only problem, didnt realize it was a 318 poly with pushbutton trans. oh well. Question: can the push button work with column or shifter, or am i stuck with a trans i cant use. Much help needed. The car is very clean with slant 6 working condition unknown. can i use the poly 318/727 for this A car.

Still working on getting the Cirrus done. I'm on the re-assembly phase now. Working 12hr shifts, plus 2hr drivetime. Getting ready for the launch of the up-dated Sebring and Avenger. Put the dual headlight relays in the Ram the other day to bypass the weak wiring. Headlights actually look brighter. Rebuilding the front-end on the father-in-laws 03 Taurus, charity job.

Currently getting my van drivable again, pcm? went out
after that going to prolly fix the body and do a interior custom with insulation, paneling and definitely thinking of a linoleom floor on 1/8 plywood (for ease of cleaning) custom bed/bench flat screen, speaker system/ upgrade the stereo., and put real port holes in the back with screens and i would also like to rig it up R.V. style except no toilet.

She'll start and I'm going to get her out of the garage to assess whether I am going to make a decent effort to make her a driver or... let her go. This car is powerful and she'll roast both back tires in second gear, until your done but, has some rust issues that I am not sure that I want to deal with.

Currently I am getting parts together to get my 68 New Port back on the road.
I still need to get brakes done. It is 4 wheel drum, and I am going to keep it that way. I have a stub frame with a disc set-up but that will go in the fury as it will be more of a performer. Also a Harley FLH but that's another.

I been doing this motor swap going on 5 years. Could've just swapped them but I wanted a fresh start. Shoulda left the tired 383 in place. When it's done it will be worth the wait. We are still lucky tho'. Some folks don't even have a mopar. Can you imagine that?
