1973 Skyline convertible with 318 shoehorned in

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the site and love Mopars so much that I've put a 318 in my old Skyline convertible. I can't post pics as I can't shrink the shots enough for this site. If your really interested in seeing shots pm me your email address and I'll send some through.

The mods to the car include, roof chop, 300zx Z32 rear cradle with R230 LSD IRS, rack & pinion steering, s14 coilovers front end, 296mm discs with std R33 skyline calipers, 318 backed by a supra 5 speed.

I plan to stroke the 318 to 390 and have found a place in the US to sell me most of the parts. All in fact except the edelbrock heads and intake. Can anyone recommend where I can buy a set of these with roller rockers attached? I will get them sent to the shop selling me the stroker crank assembly. I'm paying $1950USD for the stroker kit with forged goodies and a balance is this a good price?. Over here in Australia it's over $3000USD for a similar stroker kit and a pair of assembled heads are $4500AUD. I've found only one shop on line that will send the heads out to me for $679USD each without rockers. I noticed you can get them on Ebay but didn't want to go through Ebay.

Thanks Andrew

thought you guys might like to see it nearly finished, the 318 is still std with a holley 350cfm 2bbl and extractors.

Check how easy it spins them with the 5 speed and low ratio irs, can't wait to stroke it to a 390 and fit a paxton blower.

I'm out to crush all them new tech v8's into the dust

Andrew, alot of eBay sellers have order numbers that you can call if you don't want to do the eBay thing. Jegs or Summit have good prices.

Good looking car, I have never seen one before. Nice smokey burnout! It sounds like that car will be scary with the stroke kit and blower.

There is something wrong with your camera. It is displaying a negative or something. It looked like you got in and started the car from the wrong side! Just kidding, good job, looks great.
