1973 Charger 318 to 360 swap

I had an engine in the machine shop and my roommate went with me to get it. well the shop had this 360 that had been abandon by its owner and they sold it to him for $200. He was so convienced that it would fit that he didnt even research before he bought it... I am paying most of the rent here and I am putting some mustangs together right now, I dont want him to get started on this project and get stuck on it and clutter my garage... I am willing to help if I KNOW that it is going to work...
I am sure that it is a 70's model 360. Would we have any trouble since they are both small blocks? We have a working 904 tranny but will be looking at 727's. Has anyone done this swap before?

The 318 is internally balanced where as the 360 is externally balanced. Torque converters will be different because of this I believe.

There are quiet a few folks that have done this swap on many vehicles. I'm sure that more experianced folks will chime in.
