1993 Dakota Performance issues

I have a 1993 dakota with 5.2 V8 (318) fuel injected, auto trans 4x4.always ran great when I stepped on the gas until recently nows its just doggy and when I step on the gas its just sounds like old Thermoquad when the secondarys open up. no power. I installed new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. that helped a little but still no power when I tromp on the gas pedal.starts right up cold or hot, idles great.
Any thoughts on my power loss?

changed filter

I changed the fuel filter, no change. So I guess that leaves the fuel pump or the injectors.

Have the cat checked ? Or remove the O2 sensor & wire it up out of the way and re test it
