68 Dodge Coronet

Well got back from work after 2 weeks gone and straight to the car to get it going...I got her fired up and had her at 2-2500 rpms for 30 min to break the cam in like Comp cam instructs...Anyway now I need to change the oil in her and fix little things here and their....I do have a leak in my oil pan so I figure I would change the gasket again..My question is
Do I put ta gasket between the wind tray and the pan AND the wind tray and the engine? I was told by a mechanic just to use 1 gasket and gasket sealer on the rest,,,,The other thing my spark plug wire on #7 caught on fire being so close to the header...I am thinking ceramic boots.

i remember when the oil scrapper pans was new. and we used two gaskets, per factory info. on the B / RB pans we would open up the oil gap to two times the factory opening with a screw driver. once i put one on a slant 6.

318 duster idle issues

Hey guys, sorry to jump in randomly but i can't find out how to post a new thread.

So i just rebuild my holley 4bbl and installed pertronix. My timing is all tuned in perfectly and my idle/mixture screws are good.

Problem: After about 1min of idle, the car will drop to about 4-500 RPM then slowly die off (Even if warm)

Also If i gas it mild-hard then let go, the car will have trouble picking back up and it will drop to very low rpm again and die almost instantly.

Any help please? Thanks alot. -Jayce
