argh another prob on the dart

well finally got it to take off normal under normal acceleration but cant keep it quiet it seems that it wants to leak from the exhaust manifolds [340 ones] around the 318 heads it likes to blow the gaskets out on the bottoms as there is only maybe less than a 8th of a inch to try and seal it i think im gonna get the ceramic flowtech headers and put them on has ne1 tried these headers before on a a-body? if so how dow they fit????well????? or do i need to just get the regular ones so i cant wack them if needed? as for the 340 exhaust manifolds i'll be wanting to sell these along with those T/A 340 heads i have if ne1 is interested or trade for some other things i need

hey ef i have not had the opportunity to use them headers but if you get the Percy's Seal-4-Good header gaskets you should never have to buy another set of gaskets again , i have had them on my 440 for about 5 years and had them on and off again and again and they conform with what ever headers you put on time and time again ,,, they are reusable which is a big plus for me but just thought they would be cheaper then other headers

i found a gasket that works!!!! incase nebody else has 340 exhaust manifolds going onto a 318 i compared a set of 95 dodge ram 318 magnum ones to my old ones they were smaller in diameter and was just the trick i needed but still going to change it over to headers this spring

If you want to go headers, TTi the only way to go. THEY FIT! For gaskets, try SCE Copper gaskets. Good luck.
