easy job just got worse

Was putting a new carb on today and fuel line. Should of been a quick job right? Well the little plastic grommet in the spacer poped off and went right down in the intake manifold. And of course the intake is stuck solid. I have tried a rubber mallet, and rubber mallet with wood it won't move. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

What about a coat hanger to fish it out. Add some pictures of what you are talking about.

If it hasn't found it's way too far down a runner, a vacuum cleaner with a narrow flexible opening might work too.

I was thinking something along the lines of a coat hanger as well/

Did you use a ton of gasket goop on the intake mani when you put it on? Pretty much just use a big pry bar to lever it out without destroying it.

Oh, and glad to see youre still here man! Missed seeing you around

If your trying to get the intake manifold off then yes like blue 68 gts said. A big pry bar to pop it off.
