Thanks Tom.... At the moment, their trying to get a cost of the value of the car. They say it's going to be a total, and there going to give me the car back, plus a check? But no, I did not have full coverage on this vehicle. Only thing you need here in California is a minimum of liability and property damage coverage, for if you hit somebody. But I use a very good insurance company "I feel" and they are kind of some help..lol
Looks like we are going to be into next week before they bring in an offer. But here is what it looks like...
I get the car back.
I get paid off of an apprised value?
I get any storage fees paid for.
I get it towed both ways, paid for.
I get my Registration/Tag fees reimburse.

Will see how it comes out..... But..... If not... I do have a Attorney that is a big hot rod fan of mine.. I just hope I dont have to pull that string...
I just need the offer to be fair.... Plan a simple.... I am about giving people a chance to do the rite thing.. But... as they say... Dont poke at the LION !!!!!

I'm on call, went out this morning and repaired a Rational Oven.

Got the sandblasting cabinet working and cleaned aluminum magnum compressor, alternator bracket. Shawn got the new buffer mounted and started on one of the Corvette aluminum UCA's.

Ford son's brown lab Louie is here with our black (Mopar) and yellow (Reggie) labs, too much fun. Lou slept with me in my bed for the first time ever which was nice.

I stop in and check the forum daily. Just don't have much to say. Hope all works out with your car. Those insurance companies like to drag their feet when they have to pay out but, you can't be a day late with the premium. Its been a screwed up winter here. I get a couple of days when I can work with shop doors open and then cold and snow. I have been tempted to get the car out but I like to see the spring rains wash the salt off the roads before I go out.

Just drove out the rivets of the Corvette ball joints for Shawn, a bit delicate work not to damage the aluminum control arm, he bought the new Moog's, $200.00 each CAD.

Now waiting for BACON+eggs from wifey. Please don't talk to me when I'm eating BACON!

This week on call, week after I'm off and Shawn says I MUST have the quarter panels welded on, not my favourite type of work. After that I think it will be the right time to start our build thread.

Haha, that's what an AMC was, a little of every thing.
But I like them also
Hell I had a 65 Willis 2wd short box step side with a tornado six which I pulled to install a 440/727. It had Ford GM Nash and Chrysler parts in that old pu from the factory. The thing ran mid 13s with a stock 72 440 and a hemi cam and a vac 750, go figure.
