Then worked on a 2015 Chevy Malibu 2.5.... Did you guys know these things have 2 batterys? one up under the hood and the other one is in the trunk.
Anyhow,, Front battery went bad AGM... Boy do they get a pretty penny for them puppys... Sure glad it was not the alternator... Those are $380.00... Wow
Gold plated I hope?
Hope you all had a great day.... I'm going to go for a drive to the burger stand in my buddy ride. Have a great evening..

Very warm and rainy this weekend, and coming week. I'm off with Shawn this week to concentrate on the Coronet.

My jobs will be finish welding up floor, add rear quarter panels but I want to do them with weight on rear springs so I will need to weld on the axle housing ends or support in some other manner. I have a mandrel to shorten axles but this one I found moved after welding on the back brace or was already slightly bent from before.

Mounts for new seats and shoulder belts need to be made. Shawn wants whole underside finished and painted with front clip and suspension finished by the end of the week. Maybe I can be done with welding and start bolting things on, brake, fuel lines, emerg cables etc.

This crawling inside and under this car position welding is getting old. I'm looking forward to walking up to my car with wrenches to do work not walking up dragging a welder behind me.

The little ones keep you humble but are so much fun, my little guy went to the roller rink for the first time this morning. At the end of the two hours he up and racing everyone, the wipeouts were epic.
The best Saturday morning I've had in a while.

Bob that's terrible. I've seen where the long time experienced people are let go first in favour of youth. Although I see a lot of the young people today have a poor attitude and think they are doing the employer a favour by just showing up and don't understand the word "work".

Head up, stiff upper lip, always darkest before the dawn, aaah ****, life sucks.

On another note, Sunday we bought a 1986 Corvette tub, frame with 11 point cage and full front suspension for Shawn's Demon. Great front suspension for a race car and lots of DOM tube to work with. I've been giving him the gears about joining the Corvette club, changing his sexuality and choice of bedroom partner. He gets pretty mad but does laugh.

Bob,
The insurance company is hoping you want to settle fast and you take the first offer. Get some comparable prices for other cars sold or get some auction results online and then make a counter offer.
For the cold I usually take a double shot of Vicks Nyquil and head to bed early. Don't let the insurance company stress you out, it will just make the cold worse.
On a side note, we just had a heck of a hail storm go through. whole yard was covered in nickel sized hail. I guess its best it happens now and not summer when crops are in the field.

Very true Fivepoint... Got to get some rest for sure...
Those hail storms will mess things up for sure. Turn a crop up side down in a minute...
