My hearing, I thought I heard something in the front of my driver the last time I went through a drive threw so I checked it out yesterday. One busted CV joint on my Expedition, no wonder the 4x4 quit last winter. 🙂
Now I get to put a hub on it also.

 

Hey guys, I've been watching just not much to say. The Wife looks like she's going to retire next year with a buy out offer, trying to get rid of the high priced help, she's been there 40 yrs. They did this 10 yrs ago during the financial crisis, now it's possible Provincial cut backs to the education sector that has them scared.

I just bought a Chinese Tig welder with high frequency to weld aluminum, a little pumped about that. Shawn wants me to teach him and one of his friends to Tig weld.

Shawn just picked up a rear axle for the 3500 that has the disc brake hubs (hard to find) so we can install rear disc brakes, he's pumped about that.

 

Well.... Good on you.... Picture would be nice.... Will be nice to get your 4X4 fixed... Make sure the Servos are all working.... I Don't remember if those are Vacuum or Electric?

 

Good to know your at least keeping an eye on us.... We dont need to go to P.C. Jail.... Lord knows Tom is only watching with one eye... Hahahahahahaha
Tell the Wife... God Bless her for working all that time in the School System... Much need good help.... Very little reward but very self rewarding... Big Hug from Me here from the USA... Hope if she does retire she gets a good pension !!!!

I ment to say bearing assembly, the splines will be all roughed up from the axle stub. I remember when I broke it driving on black ice in a parking lot in 4x4 then hit dry pavement. It broke the end of the axle off, axle stayed in place for some time but slid back to where it would not drive the hub. Axles are cheap hub bearing assembly's not so much. Time to get my hearing checked out.

 

Bob this place can keep me busy even if I don't post, and one eye is all it takes. There's a lot of spam and shenanigans you guys don't see.
